Was in Qutezaltenango, Guatemala last March scouting out a mission trip for this summer.

Ok, so I’m a little behind on this one. Was in San Diego in February, and naturally hit up Seaworld and the zoo while I was there. I rented a Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM Lens for the trip, which I really liked. All of these pictures were taken with that lens and my 5D.

Trying out this new gallery feature, which I’m less sure about.

Bee

I wanted to get a shot of a monarch butterfly that was chilling in my back yard for a while, but it took off as soon as I got my camera. Found a bee happily pollinating instead.

Busy

Been pretty busy lately, so haven’t had a chance to blog, or the motivation when I did have the time to relax. Christmas is over, Patrick’s wedding is over (I tell people I got a sister in-law for Christmas), and life is pretty much back to normal. Now if the rain would go away, I might just get motivated to go outside and take some more pictures…
